This started out as a watercolor demo for a teen art camp, but was so well received it may over time develop into an ongoing series. I haven’t really done any ‘fan art’ since I myself was a teenager, but I think if was to start doing that, The Moomins are a magical place for me to begin. The first painting was created by request from a friend who’s spirit embodies Snufkin and provided a great macro mushroom shot. Once the idea of a series came up he sent over a whole backlog of awesome mushroom shots. So most likely, more of these are coming. I’m considering making prints, let me know if that’s something you’d be interested in.
